Creative Services Co-ordinator (6-month contract, part-time)

Every creative studio has its glue – that person who holds everything and everyone together while deadlines, budgets, client feedback and amends do a merry dance around us.

If this sounds familiar, hopefully it’s because you’ve already honed your skills in this kind of environment – managing workflow, resource, client expectations and the needs of your creative comrades. We are Burrows, a specialist design and production agency for multi-market communications and CGI, with offices in the UK and US. Successfully managing our creative resource is key to delivering top quality work to our clients on time and on budget. Right now we’re looking for a brilliantly organised Creative Services Co-ordinator to join us. Reporting to the Operations Director and CGI Studio Manager, and working closely with our Senior Creative Director and Creative Team, you’ll be a central figure in the agency’s day-to-day creative activities. Colleagues and teams across the business will look to you to manage creative internal resource and external services for the best project outcomes. Among the benefits we offer are flexible start times and paid overtime for those extra-hectic days that require a little more of your commitment. This is a 6-month part-time contract, 25 hours a week Monday to Friday.

About you:
• You’ll have experience of allocating and planning work for a creative team and trafficking projects for global brands
• You’re a great people person with a positive, calm and confident approach
• Highly organised and efficient, you can quickly get up to speed with internal systems and processes
• You’re a proactive problem solver, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• You’ll need a strong commercial awareness, an understanding of print production processes, and experience of art buying and photographic shoot planning
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Excel and Project is desirable, along with knowledge of ticketing systems and digital creative requirements
• An interest in creative design and the automotive industry would be a plus

What you’ll do:
• Manage freelance requirements for our studios, including bookings, performance reviews and sourcing providers
• Review briefs and plan creative resource, allocating work, monitoring priorities and identifying areas of capacity
• Manage allocation of hours and approval of creative timesheets, as well as holiday and overtime requirements
• Manage creative workflow, including feedback and amends
• Support pitch requirements by allocating the right creative resource
• Commission third-party creative resources such as photographers, photographic studios, production companies, voiceover artists, models and illustrators
• Act as the central owner of all presentation materials for onward use, ensuring guidelines and templates are kept up to date
• Support the Senior Creative Director with any other duties

What you’ll get:
• Competitive salary
• Flexible start times
• Paid overtime
• A friendly and open team environment
