Mazda Configurator

Having successfully created Mazda’s 26-Region pan-European brochures, Burrows stepped forward when Mazda needed to deliver a more enhanced online experience for their customers.

Mazda wanted to give potential customers the experience of creating their personalised vehicle online, through a sophisticated interactive configuration tool, that would allow them to specify the bodystyle, trim, paint colour, and optional extras.

The complexity of the task was increased due to Mazda not having a centralised product marketing approach; so individual markets were able to create their own local vehicle specifications. Our approach was to create a Car Configurator Product Database to drive the configurator engine. As specialists in configurable asset creation, and with our established understanding of the complexity of Mazda’s myriad market offerings, we were best placed to deliver both the database and the online configurator solution.
